  4. Flip Ultra Video Camera: The Flip is the easiest video camera to use in the classroom. Just press record, then plug it into the computer with the built-in usb stick.

  5. Wiimote Interactive Whiteboard: Using a combination of a Wii remote and a projector, any surface can suddenly become a touchscreen. This bundle comes with the Wii remote, the bluetooth adapter, Smoothboard software (Windows), and 2 different sized IR-Pens to work with screens of different heights. This is about an $80 value; it works on Mac and Linux without the Smoothboard software.
  6. Camtasia Studio: Camtasia Studio is hands down the best software you can buy for creating screencasts, or video tutorials. Screencasts are great both for helping students to learn at their own pace, scaffolding, and professional development. Techsmith has donated 5 copies of the program, which can be used on both Windows and Mac computers. Read more about it here .
  7. Starrmatica: Starrmatica makes and interactive content database for interactive whiteboards (IWBs), such as the Promethean ActivBoard or the Smartboard. They are donating a school-wide license for a lucky elementary school. This retails for $900. Read more about it here .
  8. Soundzabound Royalty Free Music: Soundzabound is donating 3 free subscriptions to their volume 5 database of royalty free music. The subscriptions are sold for $198 each. Read more about it here .
  9. Mackin is donating a subscription to their history database Journey Back in Time, worth $195.
